I painted this during a phase where I was thinking a lot about how temporary everything is. Emotions, seasons even people we become. Cherry blossoms bloom briefly but beautifully, and I loved that idea. The thick texture is intentional, I wanted the flowers to feel almost touchable, like they’re mid bloom and alive in the moment.
