The original pastel work is inspired by the dappled light, lush greenery, famous fountains and timeless serenity of one of Rajasthan's most beloved royal gardens - Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of Maidens), a celebrated 18th-century garden in Udaipur, Rajasthan, visited during a solo trip. 

The elephant figures — more in number than the garden's original fountains — are an intentional artistic addition, honouring the elephant's deep cultural significance in Rajasthani heritage and giving the work a ceremonial, almost mythic quality. The burst of coral and magenta bougainvillea in the background anchors the scene in the sensory richness of India's northwest.
