The King’s Muse, 2023, is an Acrylic, Gesso and Gold Leaf painting. Its 24x30 inches, on a Stretched Cotton canvas. 
This painting is part-2 of a series called - ‘An Essence of Love’ which is to be exhibited at the Bombay Art Society.
The painting follows a very traditional form of Mughal Art, using piping method for giving a 3-dimensional effect on jewellery, the frame around the king, the border work, etc. The gold leaf behind the King is to represent a ‘Sun’. You will notice a lotus in this king’s grip, that is the common subject of love between the King in this painting, and the Queen in the part-1 of the series
