The Perumal

The Perumal is a spiritual artwork created with meticulous pen and ink detailing on a vibrant yellow base. The deity emerges through countless fine strokes, symbolizing the boundless presence of the divine in every line. The use of yellow as the background is intentional — representing light, purity, and divine energy. 

- During my visit to the Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam, I was deeply inspired by the presence of Perumal Swami. The experience ignited a desire within me to capture this divine in my artwork. My intention is to convey the spirituality and devotion I felt in that moment, creating a piece that is ideal for home temples, meditation rooms, or for spiritual collectors.
