Kiran's childhood love of the arts was embedded in her education throughout her life. She was awarded the title of Phd in the subject - "Critical study of Madhubani folk Paintings".

Kiran's childhood love of the arts was embedded in her education throughout her life. She was awarded the title of Phd in the subject - "Critical study of Madhubani folk Paintings".
Influenced by the folk forms of this folk art, her art education forced her to fuse these folk forms with her artistic education, as a result of which Madhubani's turtle, fish, peacock, bird, elephant etc. became the heroes of her paintings.
Kabeer's straight forward but deep philosophical verses had also been subject of Kiran's paintings. During her 6 decades art life, Kiran kept expressing herself through many ways.
